Lovat Terrace is a row of cute small cottages in the pretty village of Fort Augustus with the shores of Loch Ness 5 minutes walk away. It is 5 minutes to pubs/restaurants and shops and bus stop for the main route to Inverness and Fort William.

The cottage has two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The shower (no bath) and toilet are on the same landing as the bedrooms. There is a steep staircase in the cottage which means the property is not suitable for young children under 6 years old. The log burner in the lounge also has no fire guard. The cottage style kitchen and cozy lounge provide comfort for your stay. All bed linen and towels are provided. It is situated in a quiet area of the village.

There is one parking space available outside the kitchen entrance and there is also another space at the end of the terrace where you first drive in.

“This is a lovely little cottage in a fantastic location in Fort Augustus – just minutes from the canal, cafes and pubs, but on a really peaceful terrace. The canals lead to Loch Ness, which is absolutely beautiful. The cottage was clean and tidy and we had a great holiday. We were a family of 3 people, plus 2 spaniels. In Fort Augustus itself there are lovely walks, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as plenty of shops, boat rides and activity hire shops. There’s also a children’s playground and small skatepark. We did a lot of walking near and around Loch Ness and Loch Oich, as well as visiting Fort William and Inverness. It’s a perfect base for a Great Glen adventure!”
