Recently refurbished by a leading Scottish interior design firm, the spacious lounge and dining area of this wonderful apartment provides two large comfortable sofas with sumptuous cushions and the finest solid oak furniture, all finished in a warm and calming contemporary Scottish theme. With internal access through the beautiful historic cloisters to the Atrium and Highland Club Lounge. Sleeps 6, with the use of a good quality sofa bed.

The Accommodation
From the two deep-silled windows in the lounge you can enjoy views across the Abbey grounds to the Caledonian Canal and its backdrop of mountains and relax and watch the boats pass by. A widescreen TV, and a DVD player are both available for your entertainment, as well as a wide selection of books and board games for kids and adults alike.
The large dining table easily accommodates the maximum occupancy of six people and the designer kitchen with its Italian granite worktops and Denby crockery, is equipped with all the appliances and utensils you could possibly need during your stay.
The generously proportioned master bedroom overlooks the vaulted Moat House entrance and features beautiful solid oak furniture and a luxurious king-size bed.
En-suite facilities provide a fantastic power shower and complimentary toiletries. The second bedroom has twin beds, with high quality bed linen provided throughout. There is also a separate family bath/shower room.
The sofa-bed in the lounge, should you require it, easily folds out to provide a full-size double bed with a sprung mattress, providing a very restful night’s sleep.
A travel cot, and high chair are both available for your wee ones (please bring your own linen for the cot).
Tennis rackets and balls are also provided in the apartment for your use in the Highland Club facilities.

Whether you want to simply enjoy the tremendous facilities at the Highland Club, wander around the picturesque village of Fort Augustus which is less than a 2 minute stroll, or perhaps take a day trip to Skye, Inverness, Fort William (each less than one hour drive) or even venture across to the Applecross Peninsula, the Kintail Apartment is very good value and the perfect base for your stay.
There are EV chargers on site at The Highland Club for guests to use if required.
Please note that if you are looking to arrive over the festive period we do not allow check ins on the 25th and 26th December due to staff holidays. Also, please note that the swimming pool is closed on 25th and 26th December and 1st and 2nd January, again due to staff holidays.
