This lovely Scandinavian style wooden A Frame lodge with a new hot tub has recently been extensively renovated to a very high standard and has amazing loch views from its elevated position on the bankside of Loch Oich.

The accommodation entrance leads into a short hallway. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with 4 drawers, there is a fitted wardrobe and a dressing table and an en suite shower room with a shower cubicle, toilet, vanity sink. The second bedroom has two full sized single beds and 2 wardrobes and the bathroom has a shower over the bath, toilet and vanity sink.

There is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with a living area that has a TV and DVD player plus a range of DVDs for your enjoyment. The patio door opens onto decking with a hot tub and a table and chairs and beautiful, unobstructed views of Loch Oich.

The lovely new kitchen has a black worktop, microwave, slimline dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, coffee maker etc. and the dining area has a lovely wooden dining table and chairs. There are comfortable new sofas in the lounge area for enjoying the panoramic view whilst relaxing.

An improved internet connection is now available in our Lodge, this should give a similar connection speed to the average home broadband connection, circa 20Mbit/Sec Download speed. We have also fitted a set top digital box, so allowing you to view Youtube, Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime with your own accounts, BBC and ITV players are also available. Please note as this service is provided via the GSM network weather conditions may affect the speed of connection.

Things to do

A beautiful area with so many things to do. The back of the site is the Great Glen Way  which is a  coast route for walkers and cyclists which goes from Fort William to Inverness and along the banks of the Caledonian Canal, which includes Loch Ness. There is access to Loch Oich and a water sports company on site and also to the Inver Garry railway museum which has a working engine just behind the site. Fort Augustus is a charming village which sits at the bottom of Loch Ness and is only 8 miles away.

Please be aware that the use of drones is not permitted on this site.

Although every effort will be made to ensure that the hot tub is ready to use on the day of arrival, it cannot be guaranteed.

Guests are not permitted to invite others on site to stay overnight in any form of mobile home, camper van, caravan or tent and that the maximum occupancy of the Lodge cannot be exceeded overnight.

Please note that the use of the facilities at the Highland Club would NOT be available when booking this property.

“We can highly recommend this lodge, especially if you are looking for a quite break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had an amazing week with great weather. Evenings spent lying in the hot tub watching the stars was a real bonus. The accommodation was spotless, with everything in its place and available when we arrived. The location is very central, so everything is only a short (for the area) drive away; Skye, Inverness, Fort William, Glencoe etc All in all, a great holiday and a great place to stay; we’ll certainly be returning to lodge 4!”

“Fantastic stay at the Lodge, wonderful views, accommodation was bigger than expected, hadn’t even realised there was an ensuite on the main bedroom. Loved our stay and it was great coming back in the evening to spend some time in the hot tub. Fantastic base for exploring, we visited the Isle of Skye, Inverness and Aberlour. Overall a great stay!”

“Had a great week in this lovely lodge. It was lovely and clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Having some milk and shortbread was a nice touch when we arrived. The beds are really comfortable, plenty of seating space in the lounge and the hot tub is great to relax after a day exploring the area. For us though the star attraction is the view looking over Loch Oich! Doesn’t matter if you’re sitting outside or in the lounge – we found ourselves just sitting there gazing and watching the boats pass by! It’s also really well placed for exploring the Highlands. Fort Augustus is about 10 miles North and is a lovely little village at the Southern end of Loch Ness with locks onto the Caledonian canal and well worth a visit if you’re in the area. I’d recommend this place 100%”
